The ShareX image viewer is a lightweight full-screen viewer for quickly checking an image without opening an editor. It scales large images down to fit the screen, shows the file name and pixel dimensions, and can browse other supported images in the same folder.
Open Tools -> Image viewer and choose an image. The viewer is also used by ShareX history, preview and tool windows when you open an image for a closer look.
When a file is opened from disk, ShareX loads the supported image files in the same folder. Use the left and right arrow buttons, the mouse wheel, or the keyboard arrow keys to move through them.
The status at the top shows the current position in the folder, file name and image dimensions. Images are displayed at their original size when they fit on screen and scaled down when necessary; the viewer does not modify the file.

The viewer is intentionally minimal and closes when it loses focus after opening a file. Use the image editor when you need zoomed editing, annotations, cropping or image effects.
