What are Dedicated Workflows?

In XerahS, a Dedicated Workflow is a pre-configured task chain that can be triggered trigger via a global hotkey. Instead of a "one size fits all" approach, you can create limitless unique workflows for specific scenarios.

Key Capabilities

Task Chaining: Automate the sequence of Capture → Image Effects → Upload → Copy URL.
Per-Workflow Destinations: Assign different upload destinations for different hotkeys. (e.g., Ctrl+PrintScreen uploads to Imgur, while Shift+PrintScreen saves to a private FTP server).
Custom Task Settings: configure specific settings like file naming patterns, image formats, or thumbnail generation for each workflow independently.

Workflow Categories

Workflows are organized into logical categories to help you manage your automation:

Screen Capture

Workflows for capturing full screen, active windows, or specific regions with immediate post-processing.

Screen Recording

Dedicated setups for recording video or GIFs, including specific encoder settings (FFmpeg/Modern).

Upload

Workflows to upload text, files, or folders to specific destinations immediately.

Tools

Quick access to productivity tools like Color Pickers, Rulers, or OCR, bound to your preferred keys.

Pro Tip: You can override the default destination for any workflow, allowing you to easily manage personal vs. work uploads without changing global settings.
