Website capture

If you want to take a full-page screen capture of a website, you can use the built-in screenshot feature of your browser.

Chrome

  1. Press F12 or Ctrl + Shift + I to open the developer tools panel.
  2. Press Ctrl + Shift + P to open the command menu.
  3. Type screenshot then select Capture full size screenshot from the menu:

  4. Chrome will then take a full-page screenshot of the website, and put it in your Downloads folder.

Firefox

  1. Press the ... button at the end of address bar:

  2. Select Take a Screenshot from the menu.

    Alternatively, you can right-click any empty area, then select Take a Screenshot from the contextual menu:

  3. Select Save full page in the top-right corner:

  4. Finally, you can press either the Copy or the Download button.

Chrome (Alternative method)

  1. Press F12 or Ctrl + Shift + I to open the developer tools panel.

  2. Open the device toolbar by clicking this icon:

  3. You then need to add new resolution preset (to match your monitor size) by clicking Responsive and selecting Edit:

  4. Press the Add custom device button.

  5. Create a new preset with your preferred resolution:

  6. Select the newly created preset from the device toolbar.

  7. Click the three dots on the right side of the device toolbar, then select Capture full size screenshot to initiate the capture:
